At this meeting we will have a chance to explain in more detail what we do and how we do it and you will
have a chance to ask questions along the way. By the end of the meeting we hope you will agree that our
services will add significant value to your company.

To begin, you will give us the go ahead to complete an on- site forklift fleet evaluation. This evaluation
will involve recording the age, hours, make, model, serial number and detailed specifications of each
forklift. It will also involve driving and operating the various functions of the lift truck to obtain an
impartial and general overall impression of it’s condition.
Please note that we are not offering a mechanical inspection as that can only be performed by a
qualified journeyman technician. However, with more than 20 years of industry experience, we will be
able to give you an overall impression of the condition of the asset. If later we feel a more detailed report
would be required, we can always engage the services of an appropriate dealership to complete the work.
Next, we will gather hour meter readings to calculate and report the annual hour consumption of each
lift truck. In addition we have a unique way to report on each lift truck’s utilization so that we can begin
to get a handle on whether you have too few or too many forklifts. Either way, our ultimate goal is to help
you achieve a maximum return on your forklift assets without affecting productivity. Our no risk approach
to this issue will make it a win win for all involved.
Along the way we will want your approval to talk to the key managers that are affected by the performance
of the forklift fleet and we will need to have contact with a sampling of your staff that either operates the lift
trucks and / or works with them. The input from these members of your team is vital to achieve the best
overall outcome.
Garbage in garbage out.... a very common phrase used often in the computer business but it very much
applies to what we do. We consider the information gathering stage to be our most important work
because if we are thorough at this phase of the project, our reporting back to you will be so much more
meaningful. This is why our experience in the forklift business is vital to achieve the best overall result.
We know what questions to ask, where to look for information and who to talk to. We also know where we
should spend our time looking for clues and what areas will have little upside regardless of how much time
we spend. Also, we are interested in the whole picture and how the forklift works in harmony with the rest
of your company.
Anyone can ask a lot of questions and take a lot of notes but only people with extensive experience in the
forklift field can actually collect the right data and provide you with meaningful recommendations that can
improve your business.
This is the most exciting step for us and the one we look forward to the most.
Here is where we take all of the data and information we have gathered and we begin to assemble it in a way that will expose excessive cost, lost productivity, inefficient storage or situations that are unsafe resulting in excessive liability risk.
We will provide you with a report that will not only itemize your assets with information that will help you make sound proactive decisions going forward but the report will also list some initial observations and recommendations that will form the basis for a very productive meeting between our company, you and your management team.
It would be our strong recommendation to have such a meeting so that we can have a chance to debate and challenge the way in which things have been done in the past if we feel those ways are costing your organization profit dollars or simply making you less competitive by operating in an inefficient manner.
In some cases our observations and recommendations will need to be refined with the help of your management team as they will know the intimate details of your business better than we do. Working together we can formulate the best plan for improvement and we can decide which items should be addressed first, ie items that have the greatest positive impact on your company.
Our ultimate goal from step 3 is to have a list of action items that need to be worked on that we all feel will provide meaningful results for your company.
